From the desk of...

Went to the new Popular theme shop at ION on Thursday. Prologue's specialty was supposed to be its graphic novel section.

Fail la.

But I did find From The Desk of Warren Ellis there and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Now got to look for the second volume.

Wow.. Great to stumble onto your blog while searching for "Singapore comics forum"..

Want to pick your (and other readers') brains a bit.. I suspect, like me, you are an avid comic reader and collector. Which means comic boxes stacked up to the ceiling and blocking access to much needed home spaces, like the loo or windows.

What do you do with the comics that you no longer are keen to keep? Sell them? If you do, where do you sell them (eg forums? which ones?).

I used to live in the UK and there I can sell my old comics thru ebay UK but here... I'm completely clueless. Apparently auction sites like ebay or yahoo can turn up no-shows which makes it potentially a huge waste of time..

So please share, dear avid comic collectors, what do you do with your old comics? Donate? Sell? Store in an air-con unit at Extra Storage (bloody ex!)..??

Oh... I should add that the comics I'm talking about are not the manga ones which I've found a few threads on various hardware forums, but rather, the DC/Marvel/Indie publishers. Are we a dying breed? I frequent Comics Mart and noticed that most of the collectors there are now in the mid 30s-early 40s, ie those who started collecting during the Miller/Moore era of the mid 80s...
