Zombie this, zombie that

28 Days Later, Left 4 Dead, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies... the list goes on. The success of The Walking Dead TV adaptation is a good indication that Zombimania is far from over. Both DC and Marvel had their turn as well with Blackest Night and Marvel Zombies. Blackest Night is quite nice to read, but I felt that the build up to it was rushed by introducing all those lantern corps so quickly. Slow introduction of each corps might have allowed for more stories, like the Sinestro Corp Wars. But I guess DC wanted to capitalize on the zombie craze while at its peak. Marvel Zombies started out great and fun at first. Seeing your well known superheroes going crazy and violent. But it got increasingly boring with each new series. In the end, it is going to end up with continuity issues and such.

Then there is Super Zombies (Dynamite Entertainment), a high concept title written by Marc Guggenheim. For me it is not a good read. I gave up reading the series by the third issue. This zombie thing is really too much.
